It’s March! The flowers are starting to bloom, the days are getting warmer, and there’s so much fun to be had. This month, we’re celebrating springtime, St. Patrick’s Day, and Women’s History Month! Let’s dive into some exciting activities and ways to learn while having a blast. Ready? Let’s go!
Spring is here, and it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy nature.
Use this time to talk about growth and patience. Ask your kids questions like, “What do plants need to grow?” to spark curiosity about nature and science.
March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day! It’s a great time to have fun with green-themed activities and learn about Irish culture.
Use the rainbow craft to discuss gratitude. Ask your child, “What are three things you feel lucky to have?” to encourage thankfulness.
March is Women’s History Month, and it’s the perfect time to learn about inspiring women from history and today.
Encourage your kids to see themselves as history-makers! Help them brainstorm ways they can make a difference, like being kind, standing up for others, or pursuing their dreams.
Books make everything more magical, especially during springtime.
Encourage kids to read outside as the weather warms up. Create a “reading picnic” where you pack books and snacks and enjoy story time in nature!
What’s your favorite thing about spring? Are you making a leprechaun trap, planting a garden, or reading a book about an inspiring woman? Send us pictures and stories, and we might feature you in next month’s blog!
Until next time, remember: Every day is an adventure waiting to happen!
