Dontrell Wilson

Center Director

Dontrell Wilson serves as the Center Director of Empowerment Station Academy in Tupelo, bringing a unique blend of healthcare experience, early childhood training, and long-term organizational commitment to her leadership role.

Dontrell began her professional career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working in nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice care. These roles strengthened her skills in compassion, safety, documentation, and serving individuals across all stages of life.

In 2015, when Empowerment Station Academy first opened, Dontrell joined as part of the original team. After gaining additional experience, she returned in 2023 to serve in a leadership capacity. She completed her Childcare Director Credentials and became a Certified MECIC teacher, strengthening her understanding of inclusive practices and child development.

As Center Director, Dontrell oversees daily operations, staff supervision, family communication, and compliance with state regulations. She is deeply committed to maintaining a clean, safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children thrive and families feel supported.
